All Year Long
Rachel, I totally understand... I didn't cry but I got chills :).
It's the Disney Gene.
Ok so I'm not the only one? I knew exactly what it was going to be before I even pressed play. And I'll let you in on another secret of mine that I have only told my mom. Right now Eva's favorite movie is Mulan and I cry every single time the song "I'll make a man out of you" comes on. I guess it's because it makes me think of Greg a little. But every time Mulan gets that arrow from the pole the tears just start flowing. So anyways I really understand the whole Disney thing.
I really love the Mulan movie too. And I love that song.
So each time we've been to Disneyland, I make it through the gates, around the first roundabout and then I hear the band playing and look up through the main street and I burst into tears, how silly is that!! they have this power over us, I don't know.As much as I love Disney though, I do hold them personally responsible for all the disappointments in my life, I'm just kidding, I just remind myself it all just make believe!!
There is a sense of emotion that stirs in me each time I watch Disney, too. I would love to experience Disnelyland with YOU...I think it would be so much fun with you.
Lets go Miranda! Please please please please please...
No tears, but it is AWESOME what a legacy we have. For a while, some of the movies were too scary for the little kids, but they've been awesome in the last few years. NO you're not crazy!!! ...except maybe "Crazy Wonderful"!. You're an amazing Mom.
