Snow
Jeff is good at making things in the snow. Before blogging, I made scrapbook pages of all of the forts and snowcreatures he and Clint used to make.
He was even in the paper when he was in High School for making a huge Dragon out of snow with his friends.
I need to do a blog post about all of those other things.
And memories that will keep us safe, and together.

Guitar Recital 2010
Clint is gone at scout camp for the week, and we really miss him. Especially Derek. But we know he is good hands.
These are the photos I took of him at his guitar recital a few weeks ago. He is such a good little musician. I didn't have the video camera charged up, but he promised to play a few songs and let me tape them when he comes home.

Water Balloons
1&1/2 hours to fill up.....
About 5 min. to throw.

And they all helped clean up the balloons afterwards. What a bunch of great kids!

Lego Champ
We haven't been to the library for ages. We all were sitting around one evening and decided to go and grab a few things to read.
Clint just happened to see a flyer for a Lego competition the following week. He came home and went to work coming up with a creation that would be original. He is a LegoManiac by nature, and has been for years.
He showed up on the night of the competition with a really cool Lego Book, that opened and closed like a real book, and had pages made of Legos with pictures on them.
His creation is on display at the Library for the next few weeks, and he won a gift card to Toys R Us. I went up to the library today and saw a girl taking a picture of his book with her phone...I almost told her my son made it, but she may have thought I was weird, and why would she believe me? But still, it was cool to see someone appreciating it. And I couldn't help saying to myself "yep, that's my boy!"

Superheros II
Swimming Season 2010
Last week I just took Clint's camera to the pool because I don't like taking mine around the water.
I had a hard time with not being able to look in the eye-piece. You have to just look on the screen on the back. It was hard to see the screen in the sun.
My eye was a little off because I didn't know for sure what I was shooting.
Derek is a fish. And Clint made the best of it, but he is definately growing out of pool time. Still, he has to come with us...it gets him out of the house and away from the x-box. Sometimes I hate that Clint and Derek are so far apart in age. Derek is at such a fun and magical age. Clint is a real sweetheart, but is definately old enough to prefer friends and electronics to playtime and family. But he goes along. At least for now.
